The people behind your music.

Podium Edits edits competition music for dance, figure skating and gymnastics. Every edit is made by a human editor in Vancouver, Canada — no automated trimming, no generated audio.

How we work

A person makes every decision

Where a cut lands, which phrase goes, how a transition is built — those are musical judgements, not settings. No automated trimming, and nothing generated.

We master for the room, not the studio

Rinks, gyms and ballrooms are large, loud and reverberant, and the frequency balance that reaches the floor is far less even than in a studio. Every edit is finished for that, which is why our work holds together on a venue PA.

The rules differ by sport, so the editing does

Floor music is instrumental. Skating programs need a defined ending. Dance lives on the 8-count. Knowing which constraints apply to you is most of the job.

You can hear the work before you buy it

Every sample in our portfolio plays the original alongside the finished edit. If the joins did not hold up, we would not put them side by side.
